The five directors of Power for Good and their associates have…

    • registered Power for Good Co-operative Ltd with the Financial Conduct Authority under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965

    • secured professional support from Coventry & Warwickshire Co-operative Development Agency, and mentoring support from Community Energy Warwickshire.

    • selected two churches and a Quaker Meeting House as pilot sites.

    • taken planning for installation of PV panels on a mosque to an advanced stage (before having to withdraw due to a local neighbour dispute).

    • obtained quotations to install around 33 kWp of capacity which will generate 27,450 kWhs of electricity per annum

    • registered eligibility to receive the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) from OFGEM

    • negotiated leases for roof space on which to install photovoltaic(PV) panels

    • secured a pledge from Naturesave to invest £5,000 in community sharest

    • obtained Energy Performance Certificates for each building and registered eligibility to receive the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) from OFGEM

    • personally loaned a further £3,750 to Power for Good to meet the costs of preparing a share launch
